Cape Byron Lighthouse as the most easternly point on the Australian mainland is a walk, ride or drive away. Similar, Arakwal National Park a few minutes south of Cape Byron blends the convenience of Byron Bay with the appeal of emersion in nature’s coastal environment.

Cape Byron Light is an active lighthouse located at Cape Byron, New South Wales, Australia. It is Australia's most powerful lighthouse, with a light intensity of 2,200,000 cd. It is a beautiful walk from the Burés along the beach and up the road to see some incredible views all day long.
Right across the road from us there are pathways down to the main beach. You can join the swimmers at 8am every morning and stroke your way from the Pass to the Surf club, go for a surf, play or tan on the white sand.
The Wreck is a surf spot located at Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. It is approximately 30 metres off the shore of Belongil Beach, and approximately 60 metres from the Main Beach Car Park.
Once known as Byron Bay's poor relation, Suffolk Park has grown to a point of having its own identity and micro-culture. Situated just south of Cape Byron, Suffolk Park is a ten-minute drive from Byron Bay and has dominion over Tallow Beach, which stretches 15km from Cosy Corner at the Cape south to Broken Head.
